How long riding/racing: Rode bikes back in college as a way to get to class, just about the same time that mountain bikes were starting to come into view, got hooked and never looked back. Some point between then and now I got married and stopped riding and racing, but started getting back into it the past few years with a couple of 100 mile ultra mountain bike races and jumped back on the road at the same time.
Personal goals for 2010: Work harder at developing into more of a rouleur, Top 5 overall finish in the Oregon XC Series, attack every road race I enter
Team goals for 2010: Continue to build a strong cohesive team of individuals who love to ride and race, but most importantly all “get along”. Greater involvement in the Oregon cycling community.
Off the bike hobbies: Is there such a thing?
Strongest asset: Team cheerleader
Weakest asset: Staying with the field as soon as road points up
Like most about the sport: The suffering that comes with pushing yourself as soon as the road tips up.
